Volunteer with the Peace & Justice Store

The Peace & Justice Store is in need of reliable volunteers who have an interest in giving back to the community.  We are looking for volunteers to staff our store for 4 to 8 hour shifts, as little as once a week, or more frequently if you would like.  Volunteers can learn valuable information about Fair Trade and local products and participate in renewing Vermont’s economy by educating customers about these products and vendors.  We also provide on-site job training with the cash-register as well as customer service skills.  There may also be room to grow within our Store and Center if you feel passionately about specific issues.

The Peace & Justice Store is a unique, socially responsible non-profit, striving for economic justice both in our community and globally.  We feature Fair Trade products from small artisan producers in more than 35 countries across Africa, Latin America, Asia and the Middle East.  We also work to support our local economy by carrying products from local artists, farmers, and companies.  Volunteers will work with staff, in store, and on specific projects, but must be at least 18 years old.
