Volunteer with Lake Champlain Land Trust

Come out with us for a day (or more than one if you want!) to Niquette Bay in Colchester. We are currently working on a project to help the regrowth of Pitch Pines which are trees that only grow in a rare natural area called Sandplain Forests in Vermont. We’ll be measuring plots and raking leaves off of the forest ground to allow Pitch Pine seedlings to grow. This is a new experiment and we’re very excited about it!

Questions?  Contact Blaise Sullivan, Intern for Lake Champlain Land Trust, at ksulli23@uvm.edu.

The mission of the Lake Champlain Land Trust is to save the scenic beauty, natural communities, and recreational amenities of Lake Champlain.
